Whole30 Week 3 Results + Restaurant and Snack Ideas

Hello beautiful beings,

So this is it, Week 3 of Whole30 and I am almost finished!!!

Like you read in my Whole30 Week 1 Results , I started this challenge in hopes of gaining more energy and honestly, losing weight! It has not been easy, and I shared that with you in my Whole30 Week 2 Results as well.

Now, just because something is not easy does not mean it is not worth it. 🙂

Here’s this week’s load down!

New Feelings

Unlike the other two posts, this week I can’t even track back by day. It was a big blur lol.

I just was not hungry. I was bored of eating the same things. Yeah, I haven’t made the greatest effort to learn how to cook. OOPS.

Anyway, I was desperately feigning for goodies. I branched out and tried things from Starbucks, a few restaurants, and some market bought options.

Drinks:

Starbucks- Iced Green Tea. It’s just green tea with no sugar. It has 0 calories and 0 carbs and 0 sugars and 0 chemicals so it’s been a fun treat for me. I love going for walks and treating myself to a drink. Not to mention, green tea helps with weight-loss because it boosts your metabolism. #winwin

Meals:

Seafood- I ordered a bowl of shrimp gumbo with NO RICE with the right amount of spice from Pappas Seafood. It was so delicious!

Mediterranean Food- I picked up kofta (beef) and roasted egg plant from a spot close to my apartment. However, my favorite restaurant is Fadi’s. It is THE BEST mediterranean place in Houston. I highly recommend it! You could even order fatoush (amazing salad). The place I went to uses bottled lime juice, I can’t stand the taste. That is why Fadi’s is incredible. They use natural juice.

Mexican Food- I really wanted to go out on Friday so we quickly went for a walk to Chipotle. (I know, how glam hahah.) I ordered a salad with no dressing, extra veggies, steak, pico, green salsa and a side of guac. Let me tell ya, it was soooo gewd!

Snacks:

Larabars- These bars are very simply made. The peanut butter cookie flavor contains only 3 ingredients- peanut butter, dates and sea salt. Perfect snack for on the go!

Cucumbers with lime and Tajin: Mexican mamis rejoice! Tajin is allowed on Whole30.

Results

The first week I lost 5 lbs, the second 4 lbs and this third 2 lbs! That is a total of 11 lbs!!!

Naturally, I feel more confident. My clothes fit me comfortably again, and I have a lot of energy! Working out has actually been fun. I’m honestly really happy, and I think this sacrifice is more than worth it.

    I ordered the shoes and they had a sale of 20% off yay!! Im all about the shiny silver shoe trend right now. Also the tajin on cucumbers yessss!!!! I put that on almost all my fruits lol. Ive got my 9 year old addicted to it too. Congrats again on sticking to it and losing 11 pounds. I have Hypothyroidism and its a struggle and a battle. Im always looking for ways to eat better for my health.

    “Mexican mamis rejoice” lmao! Well this Asian mami is excited bc I’m on my 2nd week of Whole30 and one of my issues has been trying to find snacks that I actually like. Thanks for the info, now excuse me while I eat a whole bottle of tajin on my cucumbers!
