What to wear when you’re BLOATED

Hello hello my lovely friends!

I’m so happy for this week! It’s an opportunity to start fresh in every way! Especially with my blog. I’ll be back to posting 3x a week so pls subscribe if you haven’t already. 🙂

Anyway, as you can tell, today’s post is kinda funny! Saturday I woke up in a really strange mood. I was grumpy, and I felt uneasy. That night I started crying to cuddle bug. He told me not to worry, because it was probably my cycle. I was so mad at him for saying that!

“Don’t you dare say that! These emotions are serious and not at all hormonal! TAKE ME SERIOUSLY OR I’LL CUT YOU!!!”

Sure enough, a few minutes later when I tinkled, Mother Nature was there. 😒🔴

“So that’s why I felt fat today?!” LOL

Come Sunday I was cramping terribly, but I was forced to put on pants. I really wanted to stay in my muumuu all day haha.

Even though pajamas and leggings are my ideal thing to wear, sometimes we have to “dress up” when we are bloated, cramping and on our cycle. By dress up I mean put on clothes lol.

Below I’m sharing my favorite pieces to wear during that time of the month. I find they are all comfy and cute.

I personally love baggy bottoms or pieces that stretch. The pants I have on, I bought at Target last year. Here are different styles with the same level of comfort and versatility.

Babydoll, smock dresses and rompers are also amazing. I highly suggest wearing shorts underneath the dresses just in case anything goes wrong.

And lastly, I love to wear a jacket or a sweater over top to help me feel more confident as it hides my tummy. For some reason, I have to be warm during this time of the month. It obviously helps the cramping simmer down.

Who else is menstruating? Or should I say, who else is on their rag? HA I know it’s you guys reading my blog that caused mine to come two weeks early!!! You know, because us girls that stick together, get our period together haha.

What do you like to wear during this time?

Bisous

I loved reading this post! I agree on being comfy when it’s that dreaded time of the month. It’s crazy how feeling bloated affects almost everything about our mood. I usually stay at home unless I must absolutely be out. I love your outfit!

HAHAH Girl, if I could, I would but I can’t always get away with that. But tee shirts and leggings are heaven. 🙂
