How to Transition your Wardrobe from Summer to Fall

Hi gorgeous loves,

What I really want to share with you is how I transition my wardrobe from Summer to Fall in some easy and inexpensive ways. I’m sure you already have pieces similar to the ones below. It’s helpful that many of them are timeless, but of course others are a bit more trendy.

If you are curious as to what they are, stick around. 🙂 You can also check my video out here, or if you prefer Spanish click here.

I will start by saying that a mix of jeans or leggings paired with a tank go well with a lot of the items below, last season’s sun dress, a jean mini skirt or cut off shorts with whatever top. I’m sure you may own many, if not all of the pieces mentioned. So picture these items when I show all of the below.

The first way that I transition my wardrobe is with my nails and make-up!

I love this, because I can wear a pair of jeans and a gray tank, but if I change my lip color to a darker tone, or my eyes to burgundy, orange or mauve colors, I instantly look more Fall ready.

My favorites are:

NYX Lip Liner in Mauve
MAC Lipsticks in Chili, Rebel, Diva and Cyber
ABH Liquid Lipstick in Catnip
ABH Modern Renaissance Palette, because I mean, ZOOM into that baby!
Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Colors in Divine Wine and Touch of Spice

The next is with accessories like hats and scarves

When I was younger, I didn’t really care for hats. But now I want all of the ones below. The Revolve hat and the beret are a bit more risqué, and that is why I love them!  I think it’s such an easy way to instantly transform your look.  If it’s hot out, grab last season’s summer dress paired with a floppy hat.

I also really love to use jackets.

When chilly evenings or cold fronts hit, throw on any of the jackets I’m suggesting below. They pair up nicely with the jeans with a tank look, or even a pair of shorts if it’s hot as heck where you live.

 SHOES! Booties!!!

I could probably display 100 different pairs, and it still wouldn’t be enough! I decided to showcase the ones below because of the colors, styles and finishes that they come in. All so different yet gorgeous! Let’s imagine that it’s still hot out where you live, you can wear a pair of shorts, a v-neck, with the make up I suggested, and a pair of open toed booties for a look that agrees with both the weather and the season. As the temperature drops, you can continue to enjoy any of the shoes below.

How do you transition your wardrobe? What’s your favorite stapple piece?
