As you may know, I was in Palm Springs for a quick vacation and Coachella! I thought I would show you my looks for the festival, because I actually ended up loving them all!
I planned this trip with my friend Karina some time ago, but I gathered all my pieces last minute. Just because, I’m Zayda and I am a mess HAHA. Also, I was not sure what I really wanted. If you know me, you know I only buy pieces I can wear continuously so it makes it difficult to shop.
Anyway, let me show what I wore:
*will share all store details at end of post*
I wore my Maria Antoinette/ Bow Beep/ Virgin Daisy Duke look. These shorts I picked up from my mailbox literally the day before I left to California and my top the day before the festival HAHA. I would have ideally worn these with yellow shoes (what a cute contrast) and a daisy choker but opted out for these flatforms, because they give me height and are inexpensive.
If you’ve ever been to Coachella, you know your shoes will get messed up and fast. It’s not worth to invest in a very glam shoe. Actually, I stuck to these shoes the whole weekend because of that haha.
This outfit was my most risqué. I used to be more open (no pun intended) to wearing things like this but for some reason as I’ve gotten older my preference has changed. Now, if you ever are going to be spicy, festivals are the perfect time to do so. I also picked these pants up the day before I left haha. BUT OMG, they were meant to be. I’d been looking for pants like these since LAST YEAR, seriously, but needed the perfect cut, length and fabric and these are a dream come TRRRUE.
I was really hoping to run into Mariana Hewitt this day, because I feel like she would like this outfit as much as I do. #groupielife I’d had this hanging around my closet and the evening before I was like, “you know what, I’m going to wear it.” I love the cut, the way the fabric is so shiny and how it elongates my silhouette. I felt so elegant yet comfortable.
I wish I’d had more time to plan better accessories and such, but I am still so in love with these looks and plan on wearing them so many more times!
What do you think? What did you wear or would have liked? Also, let me know if you have any questions on how to plan a trip to Coachella. I’m happy to help you!
